Sherry Pollex was his ex-girlfriend of Martin but she passed away in September 2023. 

She was the daughter of former NASCAR car owner Greg Pollex and was also a PR agent who focused on racing. She met Martin during the times when he was an up-and-coming racing driver and they hit it off the moment they met.

Sherry hails from Marshall, Michigan, and has graduated with a degree in sports marketing from Florida State University. She served as a PR representative for NASCAR, and along with it she was also an entrepreneur, a fighter for cancer awareness, and also a philanthropist.
